- Gather all the river rocks you are painting and wash them off. Try to get all the extra debris off so the paint won’t be choppy.
- Get the outdoor paint or acrylic paint. Also get a paint palette.
- Begin painting the rocks with acrylic paint brushes. If you are covering the entire rock, don’t paint the designs on the top until the base paint dries completely.
- Clean your brushes with warm, soapy water. Don’t let the paint dry on the brush or it will mess it up.
